Handshake is the job board and career development platform for University of Arizona students and graduates. Every current, degree-seeking student and recent graduate from within the past year has a new account on Handshake ready and waiting. On Handshake, you can easily search and apply for on-campus jobs, internships, and full-time opportunities with employers recruiting students and alumni.
If you are in F-1 status, you do not need to request authorization from International Student Services (ISS) before beginning on-campus employment. If you are in J-1 status, you must submit the J-1 On-Campus Employment Authorization e-form before starting employment.
A professional resume and cover letter are often required when submitting an application for jobs, internships, graduate schools or various other experiences. Student Engagement & Career Development hosts several events throughout the year to facilitate interaction between employers and students and alumni. They also post other career and networking events offered by others, like employer-hosted information sessions and workshops lead by campus partners.
