Gain an international edge on your Music major by studying abroad at UA Rome, hosted by the American University of Rome. Dive into the historical and artistic wonders of The Eternal City and explore the influences of music through the past three millennia of human history. Rome is home to over 50 museums and 12 UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Teatro Olimpico, one of the last three remaining Renaissance theatres. Attend an opera, visit the National Museum of Musical Instruments, and enjoy local street performances as you explore the city.

Most courses are taught in English with the exception of Italian second language classes, like “Intermediate Italian II Through Music.” Whether you have language proficiency in Italian or not, UA Rome has something for everyone. Classes provide highly personalized learning opportunities with their typical 16:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
