Pre-Travel Assistance and Traveler Preparedness Requirements

Arizona International will provide and coordinate resources, training, and assistance to prepare campus and travelers for preparing for international travels and meeting UA and federal requirements. Below is a chart of trainings offered at the University of Arizona. Click on each training for scheduling information or links to online offerings. Please also see the University's Compliance Office website for mandatory trainings.

In addition to these trainings, International Travel will provide additional resources to travelers or the group leads of travel qualifying for elevated risk review.

Training Descriptions:

Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment

Clery Act/CSA

Required of all UA employees in a Campus Security Authority capacity.

All UA employees traveling with students in a supervisory capacity are considered CSAs.

Health & Safety session:
Traveling Abroad with Students

All UA employees traveling with students are expected to attend a Health & Safety session every two years. Contact International Travel for an updated schedule or to request a session.

Defensive Driving Any employees or students driving UA Motor pool vehicles should complete Defensive Driving training on EDGE learning.
FERPA Any employees or students with access to student records should complete the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act training.
