Providing strategic and technical leadership to UArizona's educational and research programs in India and South Asia, Vinita serves as the principal liaison in the development and maintenance of productive collaborative relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders across UArizona, South Asia, and Indian higher educational institutions. She assists Arizona International in the development and planning of new initiatives, identifying new markets based on current opportunities in India and South Asia. 

Vinita has worked for over 23 years in international education and has extensive experience in higher education management. Prior to joining the University of Arizona, Vinita served as the Director of Middlebury School in India. Earlier, she worked at the US-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), managing Fulbright grants, and also at the India office of the Institute of International Education (IIE). Vinita has a master’s degree in Geography and a second master’s in Environment Planning.
