Valentino Lugo

Program Coordinator, Study Arizona International Education

Valentino serves as the Program Coordinator for Study Arizona, a program that invites microcampus students to study at the main University of Arizona campus in Tucson, Arizona, for one semester. Valentino offers support, assistance, and information to all students, staff, and faculty who are interested in the program. As a Tucson native, Valentino has always had a passion for sharing his home city, and his home university, with people from all over the world. Before joining the team, he worked at Pima Community College in international admissions, and prior to that, Valentino was a peer advisor at the University of Arizona’s Study Abroad office. Valentino earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona and during his undergraduate career, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Orvieto, Italy. This experience allowed him to broaden his view of the world and of international education. In his spare time, Valentino loves making people laugh, learning new things, and spending time with friends and family.
