Business Manager, SeniorSofia joined Arizona International in 2021 from the University of Wyoming, her alma mater, where she formerly worked as an Accountant and subsequently a Business Manager. Holding a B.S. in Accounting, she serves as Business Manager, Senior overseeing the daily financial operations for Study Abroad including the annual budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, accounting, and reconciliation. Sofia collaborates with the AVP and Director of Finance and International Operations to support other departments to ensure financial compliance and assists with other projects as needed. Additionally, Sofia coordinates all human resources functions for the Arizona International division, including personnel reporting, payroll, hiring and termination, exit interviews, and training.
Sofia is fluent in Spanish and enjoys traveling, kayaking, yoga, and jogging with her springer spaniel, Bambi.
