Hi there! I’m Michelle. I’m originally from upstate New York and I love traveling, cooking, and cats! I have a background in teaching English as a foreign language. I’ve lived in Romania and France and traveled throughout Europe. I speak French! I like working with international students because I love learning about new cultures and languages. I love to be able to connect with new students and help them on their journey!
My favorite thing about UArizona
My favorite thing about the University of Arizona is the beautiful weather and greenery! I feel like I am on vacation every day that I come to work with all the sunshine, palm trees, and flowers.
My recommendations for places international students should explore in Tucson
After arriving in Tucson, international students should check out the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum! There’s lots of unique plants and animals to see.
My top tip for success at a U.S. university
My best tip for success at a U.S. university is to go outside of your comfort zone! Don’t be afraid to go to your professor’s office hours, join a new club, or meet new people. University is a time to try new things!
