Marie joined International Student Services in 2005 where she currently serves as Interim Director. She is the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO). Her areas of focus include advising on F-1 and J-1 immigration regulations, document processing and compliance, and supporting the ISS team. She enjoys working with campus partners to educate on international student immigration requirements and share international students’ experiences.

Marie is a native of Tucson. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French Literature from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts degree in International Studies with a Certificate in Global Health Affairs from the University of Denver.  Her exchange year in Montpellier, France and a Department of State internship in Quebec City were pivotal experiences in determining her desire to work with international students and immigration-related issues.
