Lissette Calderón is the Director of Latin American Programs and has focused her efforts on the dual degree programs with the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), in Lima, Peru, and with the Universidad de las Americas (UDLA), in Quito, Ecuador. She is a University of Arizona alumna, earning her BA in Anthropology (minor in Environmental Science), her Master of Legal Studies, and is currently working on a PhD degree in Higher Education at the University of Arizona. Lissette has extensive experience working with international students and programs and greatly values the cultural, language, and social exchange that happens when diverse groups come together. She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish, and loves learning new languages, traveling, music, and dogs.
