Kai-chien was born and raised in Taiwan. Her experience with international education began when she was a F1 student studying for her graduate degree at the University of Virginia. She moved to Tucson with her family and joined International Student Services in 2015. Her job responsibilities include issuing initial documents for incoming undergraduate and graduate students, processing documents requests from current students, and advising on questions from current and perspective students regarding immigration regulation for F1 students.
