Party@Global brings together 800 students for a night of culture, fun, and prizes
More than 800 students attended Arizona International's (AZI) annual Party@Global celebration at the Global Center, a welcoming event designed to help international students experience campus life for the first time. Organized by AZI, the event featured free food, drinks, and entertainment, with sponsorship from Student Unions, Arizona International, Wildcat Events Board (WEB), and Cats After Dark.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including games, crafts, and educational booths. Participating organizations such as Students for Sustainability, UAWeb, KAMP Student Radio, and others offered interactive experiences. Popular activities included a spin-the-wheel game from the Campus Pantry, Henna tattoos, calligraphy, and learning about study abroad opportunities.
The dance floor, photo booth, and volleyball court were crowd favorites, and the night concluded with a giveaway where one lucky student won a new bike. The event fostered cultural connections and a sense of community, with students praising the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures.
