Wildcat Voices: Ananya
Wildcat Voices returns with its first episode of the year featuring Ananya, an international student from India double majoring in marketing and economics at the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. Though she didn’t decide to study higher education abroad until 12th grade, Ananya chose to continue her education at UArizona for a few reasons.
“I like the U of A for a couple of reasons. Firstly, for the Eller College of Management – it has absolutely great professors and a grant ranking,” said Ananya. “Secondly, I have a really great scholarship which has allowed me not to rely on my parents. Lastly, I think Tucson is a wonderful place to be.”
From the time she first set foot on campus, Ananya has made it her mission to become a part of UArizona. She’s worked at Think Tank and has been involved with the South Asia Student Association, International Friends, Blue Chip Leadership, and the Buddy Program, just to name a few. Now, Ananya is a student Marketing and Communications Fellow with FORGE and she wants to keep building towards the future.
“I've worked so hard balancing my clubs and my academics and my work and I'm doing all this for one thing: I want to do big things in life. I want to be extraordinary.”
