This fall, the University of Arizona International Student Services is welcoming a new cohort of Global Ambassadors (GAs). These dedicated student leaders help international Wildcats feel at home as they begin their journeys at the U of A. Coming from diverse backgrounds and majors, the 2025 class of GAs share a passion for cultural exchange, community-building, and creating an inclusive campus environment.

Maanyaa Kapur earned her bachelor’s in aerospace engineering in 2023 and recently completed her master’s degree in the spring of 2025. She now works as a retrofit engineer for Airbus in Mobile, Alabama, supporting the A220 aircraft program.

This May, the University of Arizona celebrated a milestone— the graduation of its first cohort of students in the Data Science dual degree program with the Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) in Beijing.

This summer, students from the University of Arizona microcampuses La Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in Peru, Sampoerna University (SU) in Jakarta, Indonesia, and American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) in Cambodia took part in the Study Arizona program, spending a semester in Tucson to immerse themselves in campus life while continuing their academic studies.

During the month of July, a cohort of students traveled to Tucson from Chihuahua, Mexico to participate in the COMEXUS +Talento Chihuahua Eller Generative AI Group initiative—a four-week residential program hosted by the University of Arizona Eller College of Management.

The Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona has signed a new international academic partnership with Inspirali, Brazil’s largest medical education ecosystem, advancing global opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.

The University of Arizona has reached a significant milestone: more than 100 Study Abroad Global Tracks are now available to students, reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to global learning experiences, removing curricular barriers, and integrating intercultural education into the academic journeys of students across all disciplines.
