The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship supports students who have been historically underrepresented in education abroad, including first-generation college students, veteran students, ethnic or racial minority students, students with disabilities, students attending minority-serving institutions and students coming from states with less study abroad participation. Scholarship amounts range from $100-$5,000 depending on need and expense of Study Abroad program chosen.
Additionally, come learn about other Study Abroad Scholarships including the:
- Gilman Application Award: $500 award from Arizona Study Abroad for all eligible students who apply to the Gilman Scholarship.
- Pell Educational Travel Stipend: Study Abroad will automatically award $500 to every eligible student that receives a Federal Pell Grant who commits to an approved Arizona Study Abroad program.
