Michelle manages a portfolio of programs in various locations and guides students through the study abroad process from beginning to end. This can entail fielding questions from interested students, updating applications and program websites, assisting students with their applications, providing a variety of resources, supporting students while abroad, and helping students with transcripts and other issues when they return. Her other duties include meeting with parents; facilitating the application process with partners, providers and faculty; managing the Spanish visa batch process; creating budgets for various programs; and drafting scopes of work for each term. She also supervises the graduate assistant for the office.

Michelle is originally from the Philippines and a proud alumna of the University of Arizona. She love exploring new places, food, languages, and cultures and have traveled to many different cities here and abroad with her husband and son. One of her most memorable times abroad is spending a year in Oslo, Norway and experiencing her first snowy winter. She also enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, jigsaw puzzles and playing games.
