Fátima Ramos

International Student Specialist

Fátima is a passionate higher education professional originally from Monterrey, Mexico, with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey (2023) and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Arizona (2025). Her journey in higher education is driven by my commitment to supporting and advocating for international students. Currently serving as an International Student Specialist, she acts as the office’s liaison, providing guidance and assistance to students, faculty, and staff through in-person, phone, and email communication.

Fátima began her career in the ISS office as the first Graduate Assistant, where she had the privilege of organizing enriching events for international students, including trips to Bisbee, Tombstone, the Tucson Rodeo, Phoenix Suns games, Monster Jam, and more. These experiences have deepened my passion for creating community and fostering cultural exchange.

With a goal to become an International Student Advisor, Fátima looks forward to continuing her work with the ISS team and making a lasting impact on the lives of students from all around the world.
