Alma assists students with the application, enrollment, and graduation processes at global degree-granting locations. Originally from Southern California, she moved to Arizona nearly 17 years ago and quickly fell in love with the small town feel and strong sense of community. Living near the Nogales, Arizona border, she enjoys the unique privilege of experiencing two countries and cultures in one place. Before joining the University of Arizona, she supported students at the community college in Santa Cruz County, helping learners from both sides of the border. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Northern Arizona University and is passionate about serving diverse communities and fostering student success. She’s also a proud Wildcat mom, her daughter is a University of Arizona graduate. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies.
