Celebrating Graduating Student Worker Brook Couture!
Meet Brook Couture, Class of 2023!
In addition to graduating with her bachelor’s degree in both Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and Communication and completing her minor in Spanish, Brook is finishing her time as a student worker on the Arizona International Marketing Team. Throughout her time with Arizona International, Brook has specialized in curating and sharing Study Abroad content. Most notably, her coordination of the Study Abroad Social Media Ambassadors and her creative direction of the @uastudyabroad Instagram account have been incredible contributions to the team.
We spoke with Brook to learn more about her experience working at Arizona International and her exciting plans ahead!
Why did you decide to work for Arizona International?
I decided to work for Arizona International because I have always been passionate about international travel and learning about new cultures. I love making people feel welcomed in new environments, and I felt as though Arizona International was a great opportunity for me to be a part of that!
What did you learn through your experience working here?
Throughout my time at Arizona International I truly grew as a student, employee, and individual. I began working here my sophomore year and since then have learned so much about confidence, taking initiative, and teamwork. This job provided me with the opportunity to learn how to balance my work, school, and personal life.
What was your favorite part of working at Arizona International?
My favorite part of working at Arizona International has been the amazing people I worked with along the way! I am very grateful for my supervisors for giving me the opportunity to excel in large projects and trusting in my abilities. I truly felt like an equal team member rather than "just a student worker", which I am so appreciative of! This job is a hard one to leave! I learned so much and will miss working at Arizona International!
What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation, I will be traveling Europe this summer before starting my master's program in Speech Language Pathology at San Diego State University this fall!
