As a dual degree student, the courses you take at your home university that appear on your approved study plan will automatically transfer into the University of Arizona to meet your degree requirements. However, if you want to use a course outside of that study plan to meet a U of A degree requirement, you will need to ensure this credit is approved using the processes described below.
Courses from your home university not on the approved study plan.
- Step 1: Consult with your Location Manager to request approval for an alternative course.
- Step 2: Wait for U of A approval for your alternative course to meet a dual degree requirement.
Courses taken at another university.
- Step 1: Check your coursework in the U of A Transfer Credit Guide and Supplemental Transfer Guide to see how your credit will apply to your U of A degree.
- Step 2: If your course needs evaluation, provide your Location Manager with transcripts and a syllabus.
- Step 3: Wait for U of A approval of your transfer coursework.
- Step 4: If approved, request for your university to submit your official transcripts to REG-transcripts@arizona.edu. Remember to ensure your transcripts meet U of A's translation requirements. Note: U of A will need to receive official transcripts from this university before you are able to enroll in courses as a degree-seeking student. To avoid any delays in your U of A course sequence, please begin the process of requesting your official transcripts as soon as possible
