Arizona in Iceland
Reykjavik, Iceland
Summer 2023 Dates: June 9 - July 5 | Please do not purchase plane tickets until you have received instructions from Study Abroad.
Iceland's relationship with nature is profound- it runs as deep as the country's glaciers extend below the surface of the sea- and this is reflected in the country's literature, art, music, food, history, identity. In fact, Icelanders don’t distinguish between humans and nature but instead see themselves as part of nature. The nation's intimate relationship with and dependence on the natural world has existed since the island was first settled and thrives to this day.
Arizona in Iceland participants explore the environmental, societal, and economic strategies the country employs to effectively steward their home's natural resources, advance sustainability, and live in harmony with nature.
