Université Paul-Valery Montpellier 3 was founded in 1289 and is home to about 20,000 students.
The exchange program consists of a month-long, pre-semester orientation program including intensive French language courses, cultural excursions, and academic advising, as well as a semester of coursework through the Programme anglophone.
Students choose their courses upon arrival in Montpellier, after meeting with an academic advisor. During this meeting, each student's French proficiency will be evaluated to determine their course level.
A B1-level French proficiency at program start is required.
