Amanda Agate
Program Manager, Student Success and Engagement
Amanda works as the lead instructor for student success courses at University of Arizona microcampuses worldwide. In this role, she develops curriculum, coordinates outreach, and facilitates the orientation of students new to microcampuses. Amanda earned a master’s degree in English Applied Linguistics, a TEFL certification from the Center for English as a Second Language (CESL), and a bachelor’s degree in Leadership, Literacy, and Learning – all from the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the Global Education team, Amanda taught English in Iceland, Italy, and the Czech Republic. As the recipient of a Fulbright-Hayes Scholarship, she also participated in teacher training and language learning in Shanghai, China.
