Vasilis works with students interested in studying abroad in Australia, New Zealand, Spain (Barcelona and Madrid), France (Aix-en-Provence, and Lyon) as well as some faculty-led programs in Europe. Among other assignments, he enjoys creating experiential learning opportunities that touch on subjects relating to sustainability, accessibility, and inclusion.

Having participated in seventeen study abroad programs himself, Vasilis believes in the transformative impact of international experiences and advocates that every student should study abroad. He was born and raised in Athens, Greece, where he studied Marketing Communications at The American College of Greece. After studying abroad for a semester at Northern Arizona University, Vasilis returned to the state he loves, Arizona, for graduate studies obtaining a master’s degree in Sustainable Communities.
